The resort is located in bhakrakot and is situated right next to the reserve forest. The resort is full of mango trees and lemongrass. During summers you will be able to witness the mango trees full of ripe wild mangoes, and if you are lucky and the wind knocks a couple of them down you can have the pleasure of tasting fresh organic mangoes. The lawns of the resort are not trimmed and will appear to you as if you have reached the African savanna. The resort is more or less based on the African bush lodge theme, but the luxury quotient is at-least 10 times higher. The resort is lush green jungle spread in more than 12 acres of area, the location of the resort topped up with the food and service makes it one of the best resorts in the list of Jim Corbett resorts.
The rooms have rustic interiors but here also the resort management has left no stone unturned in making your stay memorable and comfortable. Every room a window right above the bed which gives you the opportunity to admire the most beautiful creation of God, the universe. Imagine lying in your bed and gazing right into the sky from the comfort of your room, and adore the night sky, doesn't it makes it the best place for honeymoon couples? The bathrooms are so spacious that some small resorts in Jim Corbett must be having rooms of that size, and I am not kidding. The metallic bathtubs overlooking the private swimming pool seem to come right out of an imperial era painting. The sit-out areas have the charm of an old village chaupal, the furniture is here is also inspired by the villages of Uttarakhand.
While being in your bed, you can see the entire jungle from the big glass windows. The rooms in true sense are a piece of art. The resort has a private tea-stall, serving organic tea made from the lemongrass which grows in abundance in the resort. The tea stall serves a variety of teas along with light refreshments in the evening. Now, this tea-stall is very interesting, the stall is situated under a tree, surrounded by lemongrass and mango trees and also has a cart on which the evening snacks are served, for a moment you will feel that you are actually visiting some remote village in the hills of Uttarakhand. The resort is a real gem in the list of resorts in Jim Corbett.
Apart from the regular services the resort also offers a variety of treks, Hill drives, Elephant bathing, destination meals, Kosi river picnics, etc. As written earlier the resort is located right next to the forest which extends into the resort as well, which makes it a perfect spot to witness some wildlife. The resort organizes short, medium and long distance treks, you can choose one according to your liking. Paatlidun Resort also arranges for hill drives in which the guests are taken to some scenic spots in the 4X4 vehicle, the drive gives you an opportunity to explore the lesser known areas of Jim Corbett. If one has got sufficient time in his schedule then the resort can also conduct a picnic on the banks of rivers Kosi with packed refreshments. Another attraction which you can experience is elephant bathing, the resort has special arrangements for elephant bathing sessions. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Elephants are huge but gentle animals and one can actually feel the warmth they have for humans.
Location-
The resort is located in Bhakrakot village surrounded by lush green forests. Guests who find it difficult to drive on the up-hill road to the resort are assisted by the resort's 4X4. Guests can park their vehicles at the welcome and parking area at Mohaan from where the resort's jeep will pick you up.

We stayed here for three days in November and we were extremely happy with our choice. Imran (our naturalist and guide for local tours) took great care of us. The staff at Paatlidun made sure we were comfortable and were very flexible, starting at allowing us to check in in the middle of the night, to making sure there were continental food options available for us. The room was superb and the entire property is picturesque and very stylishly furnished.

We had been to many resorts earlier in the forest or a natural place. However Paatlidun resort is one among the best resort in comparison with Taj and other multi chain resorts. Starting from bookings to greetings at the time of check inn till check out, it was all best. They have maintained the mother nature in their resort They take personal care of each guest. Food options in buffet are small but the dishes are mix of Indian

One of the best place I have ever visited. Naturalist with the resort are great, other staff is also excellent and Kids friendly. Place is highly recommend. Food is great. Every staff member has a genuine smile on their face. would love to stay with this resort /lodge again
